Of course the garden needs attention too if we are to ensure a supply of fresh home-grown vegetables, and you can see here just how far its come along from the jungle of four foot high thistles and weeds that had reverted back to nature.


Below, you can see the cave, where we can store some of the vegetables harvested during the autumn and any other drinks or foods that need to be kept at a cool temperature.


Here are two pictures of the garage/workshop where most of the major furniture building, renovation work and repairs take place. Its also used for storing logs for the wood-burning range, building materials and all of the tools.
