The Centre provides a range of workshops which cover many areas of the GNU/Linux operating system, based on the principles of free/OpenSource software. Workshops are conducted in the english language.

• Beginner workshops help with migration and installation for the novice.
  
  
• Intermediate workshops describe server administration, network configuration and desktop use through the X-Windows System for business and professional use.
  
  
• Advanced workshops explain the Apache webserver, virtual hosting, mailer configuration, MySQL/php database back-ends plus various other web related topics.
  
  

Participants receive hands-on experience of the GNU/Linux system through the use of SuSE, RedHat and Debian distributions.

Participants will enjoy comfortable Chambre d'Hote accommodation, a balanced blend of work and leisure, time for outdoor activities, friendly instructors, use of computer laboratories plus unrestricted broadband internet access.
